Our Lives Begin to End the Day We Become Silent About Things That Matter
"Our Lives Begin to End the Day We Become Silent About Things That Matter"
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
The United States midterm elections are quickly approaching--election day is Nov. 6, 2018--and many states allow early voting either in person or via mail.
I'm not interested in turning this blog into a political debate, as I don't find a lot of value in shouting into the void. But please, if you are eligible to share your voice with our government via ballot, don't miss out on that opportunity.
Sites like vote.org or votesaveamerica.com are helpful in learning about the candidates and initiatives on your local ballot and you can even print out a mock ballot to bring with you to speed up the in-person process.
Your vote is your voice. Use it wisely.
XO,
Jaclyn
